Wrexham will be without James McClean for the next two league fixtures after he picked up a caution against Harrogate on Tuesday.

The Red Dragons kept no stone unturned to force a result at the SToK Racecourse but were left frustrated by a 0-0 stalemate thanks to a resolute Harrogate defence. And McClean's booking further soured the evening for Phil Parkinson who could have seen his men go level on points with Mansfield Town had they bagged all three on Tuesday evening.

McClean headed into this match with nine yellow cards already in his kitty and the midfielder had to tread with caution during the 90 minutes. However, a moment of carelessness saw him penalised for a tug on Levi Sutton, which forced the referee to book him for the 10th team this season, leading to his two-game suspension.

McClean will be unavailable for selection for the two fixtures against Tranmere and Grimsby Town on March 16 and 23 respectively. Notably, Tranmere beat leaders Mansfield 2-1 on Tuesday which means Parkinson's troops still cut down the gap at the League Two summit by two points.
